Sant Gajanan Maharaj Shikshan Prasarak Mandal feels that it’s our basic duty to observe Independence day with great zeal as the day marks the heroism of the freedom fighters Of our country. We celebrate 15th August by hoisting the Teranga on our organization’s premises and arranging programs for our students to perform singing, dancing, and recitation to tribute our ancestors who have sacrificed their lives to make India independent.
Republic Day
Every year on 26th January we observe Republic day with great excitement. It is the day when our Indian constitution was adopted by the Indian government. Sant Gajanan Maharaj Shikshan Prasarak Mandal celebrates this day by spreading the message of unity and harmony, making people understand the usefulness and importance of the constitution of our country. Our president hoists Teranga on the premises of our organization and distributes chocolates, and cakes to the local children and people.
International Women’s Day
Sant Gajanan Maharaj Shikshan Prasarak Mandal celebrates International Women’s Day on the 8th of March annually. We celebrate this day to reflect on collective action for lifting women up and shaping a world of gender equality. On this day we arrange some camps to spread awareness among the women to be educated, self-sufficient, and financially independent. We also try to inform them about our organization’s vocational training sessions. All we want is to make the underprivileged women sections be able to contribute to the advancement of our country.
International Day against Drug Abuse
International Day against Drug Abuse is celebrated on 26th June to raise awareness about the impact of drug abuse and illegal trafficking of drugs. On this day Sant Gajanan Maharaj Shikshan Prasarak Mandal conducts several camps to make people aware of the ill effects of smoking, consuming alcohol, and drugs and to strengthen action and cooperation in achieving a world free of drug abuse.
